What's That M For Anyway?

I'm often asked "What does the "M" on the reply card mean?"

The "M" starts your name - "Mrs.", "Mr.", "Miss", or "Ms.". So if you invited me to your wedding  I would write "r. and Mrs. William Carr" on that line. Then I would check "accepts with pleasure" :). It's also considered socially acceptable to use "Name(s)" in place of "M". This is usually reserved for less formal weddings but I don't write rules like that in stone.

Hope that helps! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Jowanda & Carlos: Hummingbird Wedding Programs

Jowanda & Carlos got married in Jamaica! Jowanda (who is so sweet) came to me looking for programs that would include her colors, incorporate the tropical feel of Jamaica, incoroporate the bird of Jamaica, the hummingbird - all while staying within her budget. We did it! Here are photos. I hope they were a hit!

5 Unique Wedding Favor Ideas

1. Potted Plant - These favors are so cute and they won't die like flowers will. You can kill two birds with one stone and have them stand as your place cards also. I'm sure I don't need to point this out, but they are eco-friendly. :)

2. Homemade Goodies - Gifts of love (& food) are always appreciated! Some brides even include the recipe, if Grandma is willing to share.
3. Pretty Boxes tied with Pretty Ribbon - Great for wrapping smaller favors, and they look so pretty lined up on a table, or at each table setting.

4. Plantable Wedding Favors - Guests can take these home and plant them in their garden. They'll think of you every time they see a bloom. (another eco-friendly idea)

5. Lottery Tickets - Slip scratch off lottery tickets into pretty envelopes. Be sure to include a coin so your guests can enjoy them right away!
