Hug the World

In the spirit of Valentine's Day and the love that surrounds this holiday, I wanted to mention the "Free Hugs Campaign" that is taking place in Love Park, in Philadelphia this weekend.

You can read all about the founder of the campaign, Juan Mann, here: Free Hugs Campaign

Here are the details from meetup.com :

Free Hugs Campaign
"FREE HUGS"
When: Friday, February 13th 9am-5pm

Saturday, February 14th 9:00am-5pm

Where: LOVE Park, 16th & JFL Boulevard

This is an event to make others feel better. An average person requires 8 hugs a day to feel part of something. Lets help everyone feel good about themselves and offer them free hugs!! [P.S. who doesn't love hugs?]

Sometimes, a hug is all we need.

Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whose sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives.

In this age of social disconnect and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.

***Please bring water and food and if you want you can always wear a FREE HUGS shirt. Also, if you are going to offer FREE HUGS then make a sign or ask me to bring some.

Feel free to hug, help with videotaping, or observe. You can come for as much or as little time as you want.

If you have time this weekend...get out there and hug someone! It'll make you feel good!
