This is the time of year that we all pause to give our thanks. But it's not just on Thanksgiving that I feel thankful. I feel thankful all throughout the year. All it takes is a look at someone who is suffering from a severe illness, or without family or a without a home and I'm thankful. I'm thankful for my husband, who loves me and supports me like crazy- we truly are a team. I'm thankful that we have food on our table every night and a roof over our heads. I'm thankful for my family, who also love and support me like crazy. I'm thankful that they are all in happy places in their lives and healthy. I'm thankful for my future brother in law, who makes my sister so happy, I've never seen her glow like she does now. I'm thankful for all of my friends who make me laugh and not take myself so seriously. I'm thankful for every single one of my clients who truly help make my dreams come true. I'm thankful for my dog who I just love to pieces. He's always there to give hugs and kisses when I need them. I'm thankful for my paper peeps- they are a group of strong, talented, kind, funny and supportive women who make me feel normal, accepted and inspired. And I'm thankful for my blog readers...thank you for taking time out of your busy day to see what I have to say. What are you thankful for? I'd love to know!

Something New: Custom Card Boxes
One of the reasons I love Twitter is that I follow so many talented and creative people and I'm exposed to an abundance of wedding ideas and products. The custom card boxes made by Marni Gold of Creative Custom Cardboxes really caught my eye. They are a great alternative to the birdcage or mailbox and they are customized to match your theme/colors!

S'more Great DIY Wedding Favors
I saw this DIY idea over at Twig & Thistle, and I cannot get it out of my mind. Wouldn't these make a great winter or fall wedding favor? Oh these ideas I find make me want to do it all over again (with the same guy, of course). Have a great weekend!

A Little Romance-The Wine Bottle Wedding Guest "Book"
A recent client, Meghan, asked me to make her this sign to match her wedding invitations...
And they used a cork as a stand to hold the card in place.
I love the idea of having something that you and your husband will enjoy for years to come. Isn't it romantic?
and I loved her unique idea! Instead of having their guests sign the traditional guest book, they signed one of five bottles of wine, which Meghan and her husband Chuck will open and enjoy on their milestone anniversaries.
I also found this photo where the bride used bottles of champagne instead of wine. And they used a cork as a stand to hold the card in place.
I love the idea of having something that you and your husband will enjoy for years to come. Isn't it romantic?

Holiday Cards are Here!
I know, I know, it seems early to be posting about the holiday cards in my Etsy Shop. But I've started listing them and I want all the early birds to know. Check the shop often for my new designs.
